Current Social Worker opening is: Children with Differing Abilities (CWDA) – Children’s Long-Term Support-Waiver (CLTS) Social Worker needs assessment, case planning, and advocacy; to provide and coordinate services to children with varying disabilities, functioning levels, and mental health needs; and to provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to Chippewa County residents and the general public.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field (psychology, sociology, etc.) required. Must possess a Social Work Certification upon hire. Minimum of one (1) year of full-time or part-time work experience required. A valid driver’s licenses is required. *If applicant does not have a Social Worker Certification upon hire, they may be hired as a Case Manager while obtaining their certification. Case Managers must obtain their Social Worker Certification within three (3) years of hire.
Social Worker -- Starting Wage: $30.98 -$33.68 per hour depending on qualifications. Maximum Wage: $40.42 per hour.
Case Manager -- Starting Wage: $27.59 -$29.99 per hour depending on qualifications.
