Marketing Assistant

We're looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team and help us drive growth through effective marketing programs. As a vital part of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans, building new relationships with referral sources in the community, and generating new referrals for home care by establishing strong relationships with physicians, long-term care facilities, independent and assisted living facilities, and other community resources.
We're looking for a Marketing Assistant who is a creative and competent professional with a deep understanding of consumer behavior trends and specialized marketing concepts, principles, and tactics. Your responsibilities will include market analysis, developing marketing strategies, setting goals and plans, making marketing/sales calls, and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our growth in the future.

Essential Job Functions:
- Utilizes market information to establish plans and guidelines for marketing initiatives for the organization and its various programs and services.
- Assist in monitoring organizational market image and helps directs/supports communications efforts aimed at all key audiences, both internal and external.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the infrastructure needed to support a healthcare organization’s marketing function.
- Supports business development efforts, including determining new business opportunities, developing new programs, and establishing relations with key audiences that might impact the utilization of EPTR services in Maryland.
- An anticipation that the work will periodically (but regularly) occur outside of normal “9 to 5” business hours.
- An anticipation that the work will require local travel within the EPTR service area regularly.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, business administration, communications, health care administration or a related field. (Required)
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in organizational communications, public relations, marketing or business development with experience in a health care provider setting. (Required)

Hours: Monday through Friday, Starting at 9:00 am
