Sales Account Executive

TextMyGov is a fast-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) startup that specializes in providing government agencies with smart-texting software to connect with their communities. We have over 800 customers nationwide and are growing!

 

We are seeking motivated and coachable Account Executives to join our growing sales team in Logan, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and cold-calling government agencies, building relationships with municipalities, running virtual demos, and managing the full sales cycle.

Compensation 

  • $15-$17 per hour base pay, plus 40% commissions uncapped on annual recurring fee (average first-year income is $65,000 - $80,000 and 2nd-year income $80,000 - $100,000) 
  • Bonuses for top salespeople 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage full sales cycle by prospecting and cold-calling government agencies (60-90 daily), setting virtual demos, and converting demos to proposals 
  • Manage assigned territories throughout the U.S. 
  • Utilize our CRM system, Pipedrive, to track contacts and daily KPIs   
  • Work with sales management to develop sales leads and pipeline growth    
  • Collaborate with sales management to learn and further develop sales skills    

  

Qualifications 

  • Sales/cold-calling experience
  • Experience running virtual demos (Zoom)
  • Experience using a CRM is preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Open to feedback and eager to learn - coachability is essential
  • High energy, self-motivated, and results-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting KPIs 
     

  

Schedule 

  • Full-time (40 hours per week) 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • Typical hours are 6:00 am - 3:00 pm or 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
