Summer 2025 Internship Program - HR
PURPOSE:
To provide a wide variety of administrative, technical, and staff support services to an organizational unit on a temporary basis. Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Essential functions are standardized. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Experience and Skills)
- high school diploma or equivalent; currently enrolled in college in sophomore, junior, or senior year
- 1 or more prior internships and/or part-time work experience preferred
- academic degree work in a specified or technical field of study in alignment with position
- basic skills and procedures appropriate for the position
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Lifting requirements are typically less than 20 pounds on an infrequent basis.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Typically works in an office environment or occasionally on or around the manufacturing floor. The noise level is usually moderate. Minimum weekend work required, if at all.
