Corporate Credit Analyst (Racine or Madison) (3019)
The Corporate Credit Analyst is responsible for reporting and monitoring the bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements relating to the credit process, assists in developing JFG loan policy standards and procedures, oversees JFG’s real estate appraisal third party vendor process, and provides daily support to the Special Assets team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Specific Responsibilities
- Oversees the Bank’s real estate appraisal/evaluation ordering and billing process.
- Assists the Special Asset Team with the processing of loan charge offs, other real estate owned by the Bank and book value transactions on an ongoing basis.
- Works together with the Chief Credit Officer to ensure appropriate approvals are received and documented for action taken on credits assigned to the Special Asset Team.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining monthly/quarterly credit related reports.
- Responsible for providing risk management oversight for Corporate Credit. This includes the identification, review and ongoing testing of credit related risk management controls, in addition to acting as the credit liaison to the Enterprise Risk Management Team.
- Administrator for several credit monitoring systems (PMAC and Watch List). Acts as lead consultant for technical issues, report administration and user support. Analyzes and makes recommendations on system enhancements and upgrades to implement best practices and industry standards.
- Responsible for development, enhancement and ongoing support and maintenance of the Commercial Credit Share point site.
- Assists in the development and enhancements of Johnson Bank Credit related policies, procedures, standards and templates.
- Acts as a resource and provides support to Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts and Corporate Credit Leadership.
- Responsible for oversight of the Vendor Management program as it specifically relates to Corporate Credit Administration.
- In conjunction with Senior Management, acts as a Credit Liaison to Regulators, In-House and External Auditors and Loan Review
- May represent Corporate Credit Administration on credit related corporate initiatives and projects
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree preferred; the appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of banking experience with at least 1 year experience in a credit related position or related commercial banking function when considering entry level, more applicable years of direct experience required for mid-level.
- Functional credit analysis skills with knowledge of credit procedures and loan policy.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills required with the ability to meet deadlines and function as a team player.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail/accuracy and timeliness a must.
