Position Summary:
The Data Analyst Intern supports the Client Services team by performing a variety of data driven duties to support HR Consultants in the development of statistical analyses and reports in compliance with state and federal government reporting requirements. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the team with preparation and analysis of data in MS Excel and Berkshire’s proprietary Affirmative Action Planning software.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Reviews Affirmative Action data in MS Excel and prepares accurate, complete, and formatted data files using appropriate formulas and functions.
- Imports data files into balanceAAP software, formats error reports, and resolves data errors at the direction of a Project Manager.
- Assists with various aspects of data analysis and preparation of reports in balanceAAP.
- Assists the Client Services team with routine tasks including but not limited to updating project information in project management software application.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Ability to perform arithmetic and statistical calculations required.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with tact and discretion required.
- Ability to work effectively, individually and within a team, with minimal supervision at times.
Skills: data analysis, multi-tasking, project management, time management, Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Qualifications:
Degree Concentration: Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Industrial Psychology, or closely related field.
