Director, Print & Mail Services

What You’ll Do

As Director, Print & Mail Services, you will play a critical role in the management and growth of our full range of high-quality business printing and fulfillment services as well as outsourced mailrooms. In addition to ensuring that all operations throughout the NYC metro area run smoothly, you will drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. If you have a strong background in digital printing and in-house mass mailing services, exceptional leadership capabilities, a track record of achieving ambitious sales targets, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, this could be a great opportunity to join a growing, world-class organization.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing daily print and mail operations to optimize processes, enhance productivity, increase efficiencies, and ensure high quality and timely delivery of services.
  • Supervising a team of print and mail professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management, to foster a productive and engaged workforce.
  • Actively pursuing and developing new revenue streams through strategic sales efforts, including identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and expanding the department's market presence.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, providing effective solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Preparing and the departmental budget and analyzing financial performance throughout the year, implementing strategies to optimize profitability and ensure expense alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Managing the inventory of printing materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for all locations and minimizing waste.

You’re a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience (ideally 5+ years) managing digital printing and inhouse mailing services.
  • Bachelors degree in Business (or related field) or comparable experience.
  • Technical proficiency with digital printing and mailing equipment and related software and technologies.
  • Success with sales and ability to increase market presence.
  • Strong sense of urgency and organizational skills, with ability to multitask to meet all deadlines and address issues promptly.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends when needed.

 

Compensation

  • $85,000-$100,000 depending on experience
