Summer Student-Client Service
Getting To Know the Opportunity:
The intern works directly within Voya IM's Distribution team, with a focus on the Client Service and Relationship Management function, supporting Institutional clients. Please Note: This position has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.
The Contributions You'll Make:
Gain insight and understanding of Institutional client business and overall investment management business by participating in team calls, projects and discussions.
Gain exposure to project management and systems used in the client servicing aspect of asset management.
Assist with Institutional client reports, deliverables, and meeting books preparation and data review, including coordination with internal teams.
Assist in various team projects, review and present proposals, e.g., streamline and update client contract repository within team’s SharePoint site, create client profiles in partnership with Client Account Managers, update shared drive folder to organize client-related information.
Enhance written documentation for key processes.
Develop consistent tracking and reporting mechanisms across client reporting, processes, client engagement activity and client account data attributes.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Currently pursuing undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or similar, with anticipated graduation date by Dec 2025/Spring 2026. Knowledge or interest in Financial Services and/or Asset Management industry.
Strong technical skills and solid working knowledge of Microsoft business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and willingness and ability to learn and utilize in-house systems. SharePoint knowledge a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Quantitative and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail.
Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and individuals at various levels within the organization.
Ability to shift priorities to meet deadlines.
Located in NYC area, with the ability to work within our NYC office at least 3 days per week. Students located in Atlanta or Connecticut will also be considered.
