Marketing and Events Intern

Smash Park is looking for a part-time Marketing & Events Intern (15-20 hours/week).  The primary functions of our Marketing & Events Intern will center around Social Media Marketing, Photography, Events and Graphic Design.  

Job functions & Accountabilities

  • Facebook/Instagram monitoring (responding to basic questions, make sure all comments and messages have been responded to, liking the appropriate tags, etc.); these functions will take place nights and weekends
  • Taking basic photos (venue updates, games, people playing games, etc.), and assisting the Marketing Coordinator with photography for major events.
  • Creating new templates assets and resizing all assets for events
  • Basic Photo Editing (uploading and making basic lighting tweaks to photos with Photoshop, so they are ready for use when needed)
  • Create weekly themed trivia decks
  • This internship runs ideally from July – December 31, however dates are negotiable, and could potentially be extended based on performance and business need

Applicant Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva and Adobe Suite
  • Super-incredible spelling and grammar knowledge and skills
  • A creative brain is a must! To work here, you always have to have fun and new ideas
  • Highly motivated, hard-worker and a passion for learning new things
  • A working knowledge of Dropbox (for file transfers and sharing with the Marketing Coordinator)
  • Proficiency in Facebook and Instagram functionality
