Associate Development Analyst Intern


Job Description

The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team’s success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.

 

The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time hours during the Summer Internship Program (May 27, 2025 - August 1, 2025).

 

The Associate Development (AD) Analyst Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the AD team's objectives and aligning with our broader organizational goals. The intern will help us make informed decisions based on accurate and timely data by performing data analytics using Workday, Excel, and Power BI. This will enhance our ability to track progress, identify trends, and optimize our strategies, ultimately leading to improved performance and efficiency. Overall, the intern's contributions will help us achieve our objectives of enhancing data-driven decision-making, improving internal communication, and supporting leadership development. These efforts will align with our broader organizational goals of fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.

Responsibilities:

Elevate the data visualization project for the Associate Development department focused on individual development plans (IDPs) and extending to career profiles including searching for solutions to measure quality in IDPs. This will include tracking data with the current system while collaborating with stakeholders to develop a streamlined, sustainable new solution.

Assist in the creation and distribution of internal marketing materials and communications using Viva Engage and other platforms. Use data to determine effective strategies for connecting with varied audiences. Engage directly with target groups to elevate our brand and gain real-time feedback from internal customers.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions focused on delivering a centralized and searchable leadership guide.

Be ready to share weekly findings with leaders at all levels.

 

Qualifications:

This is a full-time position with the expectation that 80% of the work will be onsite. Flexible working arrangements will be evaluated depending on the business needs.

The ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with a focus in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Candidates in related fields will also be considered. Must have completed at least one semester of coursework.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, creative, curious, and passionate about engaging with people.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support cross-functional communications with a wide variety of stakeholders.
