Local Hire Digital Communication Specialist

In this position, you will work in the cadre to assist local communities in recovery efforts.

Typical assignments include:

  • Identifying influential social media users and websites in disaster-affected communities.
  • Identifying opportunities for shared messaging and content such as retweeting, link sharing, placing widgets, audio recordings, photo sharing, and video sharing.
  • Referring hot issues to the appropriate External Affairs functional element.
  • Posting appropriate versions of all products distributed to the Joint Information Center including Facebook, Twitter, and audio podcast.
