Local Hire Program Liaison Specialist
In this Local Hire (Program Liaison Specialist) position, you will serve as an External Affairs Program Liaison to FEMA partners.
Typical assignments include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact between External Affairs and other FEMA program areas to provide operational updates to External Affairs for use in messaging.
- Gathering information to produce materials designed to reach external and internal audiences through a wide range of communications channels to include radio, television, newspapers, web, social media and direct communications.
- Preparing reports and providing recommendations to inform External Affairs of analysis results for use in decision-making processes.
- Attending scheduled community events conducted by program areas to ensure consistency in messaging and provide situational field updates to External Affairs.
- Requesting and coordinating subject matter experts for speaking engagements.
