Position: Golf Pro Shop Manager

Fort Hays Municipal Golf Course is looking for a dedicated Golf Pro Shop Manager to lead our pro shop team and enhance the experience of our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the pro shop, ensuring efficient and friendly service.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising golf equipment and apparel.
  • Develop and implement engaging sales promotions and marketing strategies.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule pro shop staff to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Organize and coordinate golf events, tournaments, and clinics.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized environment for all customers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail management, preferably in a golf or sporting goods environment.
  • Strong knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
  • Passion for the game of golf and providing outstanding customer experiences.
