Green hydrogen plays an essential role towards our net-zero mission.  Hydrogen has widespread industrial and transport applications.  Conventional hydrogen production from fossil fuels is accompanied by the release of large quantities of carbon dioxide. Our innovative technologies use renewable energy and water to produce green hydrogen with zero emission.  We aspire to improve efficiency, reduce the cost, and scale the manufacturing to meet the booming green hydrogen market.      

 

We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Co-op to join our newly launched H2 Center of Excellence (COE) in Burlington, MA. You will engage and contribute to cutting edge technology which will be integral in a greener world.  

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Collaborate with the polymer team on membrane synthesis projects.  

Perform synthesis and characterization of organic small molecules, polymers, and membranes. 

Interact with MEA engineers to optimize membrane performance.  

Learn and understand organic and polymer chemistry techniques. 

 

Qualifications: 

Recently Graduated or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering. 

Hands-on experience with organic chemistry, lab course or research experience welcome. 

Experience with NMR, IR, DSC, GPC preferred but not required. 

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.  

Understanding of organic chemistry reactions and techniques. 

Enthusiasm towards chemistry and green energy technology.
