Graphic Designer and Visual Content Producer Job Overview.

At 2MO Studio, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer and Visual Content Producer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable.

This is an ongoing project involving all our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest), blog, and website. You'll collaborate with multiple teams across the company to produce content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement. As a Graphic Designer and Visual Content Producer, you will work on a wide range of projects and media, utilizing various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet our business goals. You will take written or spoken ideas and convert them into designs that connect with our target audience. Collaborating closely with managers, marketing teams, and clients, you will ensure that all designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations.

You will work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing teams to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, you will update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce high-quality visual content, including short videos, images, and occasionally captions for various platforms.
  • Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
  • Create imagery for blog posts and our website, ensuring visual consistency and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams on a wide range of materials such as web pages, presentations, signage, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
  • Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system.
  • Work methodically to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, standards, and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing aesthetic awareness and problem-solving abilities.
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design or a related field.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as Figma and Canva.
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Ability to translate ideas and concepts into visually appealing designs.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative, flexible, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work on a wide range of projects and media.
  • Ability to obtain input from managers to ensure designs meet organizational standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with design software and technologies such as Dreamweaver is a plus.
  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools like Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of screen design tools like Sketch and UI/UX design principles is advantageous.
