About Our Internship Program:
Throughout your internship, you will have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions, and receive customized training from our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into supporting the needs of Stanley Black & Decker both in the US and abroad. The interns will gain first-hand exposure to Stanley Black & Decker and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Interns are expected to adapt to change and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and confidence. Interns must be team-oriented and collaborative.
The Job:
- During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support North America Marketing with key activities including:
- Assist with development of all digital strategy for the brand while working cross-functionally with digital subject-matter experts and social influencers.
- Work with agency partners to plan, develop and deliver dynamic, world-class content.
- Track performance of digital marketing campaigns, consumer ratings and KPIs. Provide campaign reporting that includes actionable insights.
- Assist in building out Activation Plans for upcoming Q4 Marketing Activations and Product Launches
- Directly support efforts to drive growth and sales conversion through Digital Marketing Campaigns
- Participate in customer meeting preparation through best-in-class presentation development.
You will have exposure to several areas of the Marketing and Product functions at Stanley Black & Decker. You will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects with a cross-functional team of professionals, including those dedicated to iconic brands such as DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY®, CUB CADET®, and HUSTLER®.
The Person:
The ideal Marketing intern candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Be a rising junior or senior with a target graduation date of 2026 or 2027.
- Actively pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Consumer Behavior, Informatics, or other related fields.
- Maintains strong academic credentials.
- Exemplifies strong collaboration, excellent time management, problem-solving capabilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a basic knowledge of marketing principles and concepts.
- Successfully manages strong academics alongside extracurricular activities.

The pay range for this position in Maryland is $20.00- $23.00 per hour. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as major and years of school completed. This role is ineligible for benefits.
