Welcome to OneEighty a safe place, a source of hope and new direction. We’re a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in and around Wayne and Holmes counties in Ohio. We provide comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health and behavioral health services and operate multiple care facilities throughout our service areas.
OneEighty is looking for a full-time Housing Retention Case Manager to accept referrals from other social service agencies and determine eligibility for housing retention services. This position will provide intensive case management; maintain documentation and collect data; and provide assistance to the Supportive Services Coordinator.
Essential Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive case management, geared toward assisting clients in overcoming obstacles, such as lack of or insufficient employment/income, criminal record, lack of transportation, childcare, previous evictions, pregnancy and other health and mental health concerns, etc. regarding maintaining secure housing. This includes scheduled home visits, and housing inspections.
- GPRA completion with eligible individuals.
- Maintain progress notes and record-keeping, including logging and maintaining data and outcomes information.
- Referrals to additional community supportive services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree in social work, or related field, preferred. Background in social work, or related field, and knowledge of low-income housing and social service agencies preferred.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty's vehicle insurance. Local travel may be required.
- May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty.
- If in recovery must have two years continuous sobriety.
- Must be certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Must be trained in administering Narcan.
- Ability to use a computer; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral).
- Ability to use, or be trained in Yardi.
- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain confidentiality under all governing laws.
- Must maintain appropriate boundaries with clients as set forth in Agency Policies and Procedures.
- Must have written communication skills which support the ability to submit accurate documentation and effectively communicate.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Must hold a punctual and predictable work schedule.
- Must maintain honest, effective, and respectful communication with supervisor and co=workers, as well as dedication to creating a cooperative and effective department.
Work Schedule: Full-time hourly, Non-Exempt position, 40 hours a week. Generally, Monday through Friday, but flexible hours, which include nights and weekends as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
Immediate Supervisor: Director of Housing and Homelessness Services
Pay Range: $17.00/hour starting pay, increases dependent on education, licensure and experience.
