An exciting opportunity to join a fast growing and dynamic health and CPG - Consumer Packaged Goods products company. Located in Commerce, MI, we are looking for a multi-talented sales person to help our company continue to grow as we lead the delicious healthy candy category!
This candidate will work with the core team to drive sales of Zolli Candy with retailers, distributors and institutions. Transparent, open communication and execution of the day-to-day activities, as well as work on multiple sales and marketing initiatives. This position will report to the company Manager and will need to be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. Highly organized, creative, positive, can-do attitude, strong work ethic, business judgement or experience are traits of ideal candidate.

CPG product sales experience helpful and preferred.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Develop and execute sales strategy and plans with focus on growth of Zolli Candy at major and regional retailers and distributors by leveraging and communicating Zolli Candy benefits, marketing support and authenticity of Zolli Candy mission and story and marketing programs.
- Initiates and drives sales and business development, channel development, broker, distributor and account development
- Collaborates with marketing to produce compelling brand communications consistent with the brand/product position to drive sales and growth.
- Transparent reporting of account development, opportunities and issues
- Work closely with marketing to create effective stories and content for use in all marketing and communications materials.
- Participates in the overall sales and marketing strategy and tactical execution with the broader team to achieve goals and targets.
- Manage, coach and motivate outside brokers, identify and execute merchandise initiatives, and promotional plans to ensure we are developing and supporting account growth and success.
- Lead select customer and industry events and meetings to position Zolli Candy as America's leading, growing healthy treat.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent field of study or experience
- Excellent communication skills in writing and verbally using the English Language
- Minimum of 2 years CPG business or Retail industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience
- A passion for sales and business development
- Consumer goods sales planning skills and experience
- Retailer presentation development and power point skills
- Demonstrated collaborative and organizational skills
- Experience in leading and managing projects and programs effectively
- Strong work ethic
- Proficiency in MS Office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
