Infant/ Toddler/ Preschool Lead Teacher

Infant , Toddler and Preschool Lead Teacher- Positions available at most locations. Ask for details.. 

Salary Range:  $13.00 to $17.00/hr. Placement in this range is dependent on professional development levels for education and training. Additional incentives may be available for special duty assignment(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the care and supervisor of the children in the classroom-build relationships and a caring classroom environment
  • Develop age appropriate and differentiated classroom schedule, lesson plans and classroom environment to support preschool and kindergarten readiness and individual learning for each child
  • Complete screenings and ongoing assessments to determine child progress and needs.
  • Maintain documentation for prices provided, progress reports and attendance
  • Build positive relationships with families and community
  • Work as part of a team with the teacher assistant, center staff and the director

 

Qualifications:

  • Pathway Level in OCCRRA is at minimum Level 1, Experience is required and willingness to enroll in a CDA or Associate Degree in ECE
  • Willingness to update job knowledge with required ODJFS Licensing Rule and STUQ Professional development opportunities and industry trends
  • Demonstrate cross cultural competency while working with Horizon’s diverse population
