Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team, focusing on four of our leading brands: Jolly Pets, Barker Beds, Horsemen's Pride, and Tusco Products. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to learn and contribute to real-world social media strategies across various platforms. You will help us build brand awareness, engage with our communities, and create compelling content that resonates with our audiences. The ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast, eager to learn and contribute to our marketing efforts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Assist in planning, scheduling, and posting content for Jolly Pets, Barker Beds, Horsemen’s Pride, and Tusco Products across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Content Creation: Support the development of eye-catching visuals, videos, and written content that aligns with each brand’s tone and values. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute new content ideas.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering a positive and engaging brand presence.
- Campaign Support: Help execute social media campaigns, including giveaways, promotions, and partnerships with influencers, ensuring smooth coordination and tracking results.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track the performance of social media posts and campaigns, providing insights into audience engagement and campaign effectiveness. Use tools like Instagram Insights, Facebook Analytics, and Google Analytics.
- Trend Research: Stay up to date on the latest trends in social media, pet wellness, and outdoor living (relevant to each brand), offering suggestions for adapting these trends to our content strategies.
- Administrative Support: Assist the marketing team with day-to-day tasks such as organizing content calendars, preparing presentations, and coordinating influencer partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt your voice to fit different brands.
- Experience with photo/video editing tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently.
- Enthusiastic about pets, lifestyle brands, and creative marketing.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is beneficial but not required.
