Multi-family Property Management Internship

Multi-family Property Management Internship 10 weeks (paid)


APPLICATION DEADLINE - DECEMBER 2, 2024


Description:
10-week internship program offers learning experiences in the areas of multi-family property management, commercial property management, real estate brokerage, and investment/development.


Expected Outcomes:
At conclusion of internship, intern should be able to demonstrate ability to i) gather market data, ii) research properties and businesses, iii) market to tenants and landlords, and iv) synthesize all commercial real estate disciplines.


Education:
Rising seniors majoring in business, communications, or real estate.


Requirements:

-Students applying for this internship must demonstrate proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)


-Experience or education should demonstrate interest and commitment to a career in the commercial real estate industry


-Demonstrate dependability, self-sufficiency and motivation in past work or extracurricular activities

Conducted in person at Glen Allen, VA corporate office
Orientation to Thalhimer and aspects of all commercial real estate disciplines including the following:


o Brokerage
o Capital Markets
o Development
o Residential Property Management
o Commercial Property Management
o Project Management
o Research & Marketing Functions


JUNE 4 - AUGUST 7
Under guidance from Multi-family business line leader, complete specific work/project assignments in a specific market location in Virginia


AUGUST 8
Return to Glen Allen office for intern group for project wrap-up presentations and individual exit interviews
