Title: QC Associate

Location:  Devens, MA, 01434

Client: Biopharma
Term: 12+ months (Possible Extension/conversion)

Shift: : Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a QC Associate to perform routine testing in the QC Bioassay laboratory. This role is responsible for supporting laboratory operations, including media preparation, cell maintenance and passaging, and instrument maintenance and calibration. The QC Associate will also assist with inventory management, ordering, and other analytical support as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory testing and assays.
• Prepare media and maintain cell cultures.
• Carry out instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and place orders as needed.
• Utilize strong technical skills with lab equipment, including pipettes, analytical balances, and pH meters.
• Record experimental data using electronic notebooks and ensure data integrity.
• Provide analytical support as needed to other teams and functions.
• Adhere to lab safety standards when handling hazardous materials (PPE required).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a science-related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a GMP QC lab or equivalent experience in a related GLP/GMP biopharmaceutical lab environment.
• Proficiency with laboratory instruments and software, including Empower.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic data recording systems.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience working with cells, reagents, and hazardous materials.
• Position requires handling hazardous materials and working near in-vivo experiments. Proper PPE will be provided and must be utilized.
