Job Overview

To provide leadership to the Kids Ministry under the direction of the Kids Minister. Work with Kids Ministry associate and other Kids volunteers to ensure a dynamic experience where the mission of the church is completed.

Responsibilities and Duties

This is the role of supporting and enabling people to meaningfully engage in the work of the church. 

• Assist in planning and leading worship in both Elementary and Preschool.
• Assist in making sure classrooms are set up and ready prior to Sunday morning.
• Manage AV/Tech equipment in both lobbies as well as worship spaces. 
• Help in planning summer events in Kids ministry (for example Vacation Bible School, Summer Movie Nights at the Park, Family Picnic, Care Week) 
• Assist in decorating for monthly stage themes in Elementary worship.
• Help to keep the resource room, classrooms, and kitchens in the Kids space organized and tidy.
• Assist in maintaining the Kids portion of the church website and social media accounts.
• Assist the Kids Ministry Associate in the preparation and provision of curriculum to teachers.
• Assist the Kids Minister in scheduling of volunteers.
• Other duties as assigned by the Kids Minister and the Kids Ministry Associate.

Qualifications

• Experience in Kids Ministry Preferred
• Administrative Skills
• Demonstrated the ability to work in teams
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Preferably someone that has a passion for Kids Ministry
• Must acquire a high energy level and be able to multitask

• Must love the church and be willing to serve under the authority of the Senior Pastor.
