Job Overview
The Digital Engagement Director will lead the development and execution of digital strategies to enhance the online presence of Intercessors for America (IFA), engage with our people, and drive its vision and mission forward. IFA will have over 1 billion impressions and over 50 million engagements during 2024. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for digital communication, a keen understanding of social media trends, and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital engagement strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation and curation of engaging content for the organization's website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and other digital channels
- Online Media Management: Manage and grow the organization's media presence, including content planning, posting, and community engagement
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze digital engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies that drive key performance indicators and provide regular reports to the executive team
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital campaigns to support News, Prayer, and Action
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all digital platforms
- Innovation: Stay current with the latest digital trends and technologies and recommend new tools and approaches to enhance digital engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related role, preferably within the nonprofit sector
- Graphic design and video editing software experience
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies
- Familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms
