Duration: 12+ Months(Possible extension)

Location/Site: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Shift: M-f, 8AM-5 PM

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team in Seattle, WA. This position will involve hands-on laboratory work with a focus on molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, and mammalian tissue culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical testing, be capable of troubleshooting, and demonstrate initiative in learning and applying new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine analytical testing, process data, and report results in accordance with established laboratory protocols.
  • Assays include qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, molecular biology assays, and cell-based assays.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Present data in group meetings and prepare written summaries as needed.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members or cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize experiments.
• Stay motivated and demonstrate initiative in learning new techniques and working with emerging technologies.
• Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication and continuous improvement.
• Complete required training on time and adhere to all lab safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in molecular biology, including ELISA, qPCR, and mammalian tissue culture.
• Strong motivation, with the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and train team members on lab operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to present data clearly.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
