Marketing Assistant
Sodoma Law is a family law firm with 6 offices across North Carolina and South Carolina. Over the years, our practice areas have expanded to include trusts and estates, adoption, mediation, immigration and more. As our areas of practice grow, so does our footprint across the Carolinas.
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant for our Charlotte, North Carolina office who can supports the overall day-to-day operations of Sodoma Law's Marketing Department with a focus on coordinating firm wide communication, calendar management, event management, and overseeing firm sponsorships. This person is highly organized, self- motivated, and a proactive thinker. The Marketing Assistant should be a self-starter, comfortable working independently, have a sense of urgency, able to manage competing priorities, and be a creative, fearless problem solver.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate marketing projects and administrative activities for the firm.
- Administer the dissemination of information for the firm’s newsletter, “The Sodoma Standard
- Oversee the process of event set-up and breakdown for all locations.
- Maintain, order, and ensure all swag inventory for all locations
- Understand law practice areas and multi-disciplinary related topics to be able to suggest content themes/idea topics for social media
- Coordinate blog writing with lawyers and create high-level content for brochures or gated content.
- Perform ad hoc administrative duties that supports marketing projects ad programs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License & Car Insurance
- Willing to travel to all Sodoma Law locations.
- 1-2 years of proven experience as an administrative assistant
- Ability to create compelling and engaging content.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
