Summer Intern- Healthcare Compliance

Overview

The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment in the pharmaceutical industry, receive mentoring from highly skilled professionals, and work on dynamic team projects. Our 2025 Summer Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship. The internship may present opportunities for rotational assignments within the function, and the intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the company. Responsibilities

  • Reporting through the Global Compliance department, this role will support the implementation of healthcare compliance initiatives (e.g., ethical business practices, anti-bribery, appropriate promotion of company products, etc.).
  • Support special projects across the Global Compliance department, including developing compliance trainings, policies/SOPs, and other projects as assigned.
  • Interact with Insmed stakeholders across departments and geographies (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Patient Support, Clinical Development, EMEA, Japan, etc.).
  • Full time, 40 hours / week.
  • Interested in pursuing a career in healthcare compliance within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Currently in full-time pursuit of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or advanced level degree in (JD, MSJ, MBA).
  • High level understanding, or ability to understand, healthcare compliance requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturers, including:
    • Office of Inspector General’s Seven Elements of an Effective Compliance Program
    • Department of Justice’s Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs
    • Applicable laws including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practice Act, Open Payments Sunshine Act, etc.
    • PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must successfully exhibit Insmed’s five (5) corporate values: Collaboration, Accountability, Passion, Integrity & Respect; along with any other position specific competencies.
  • Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.

Salary Range

$23 - $35 an hour

Compensation & Benefits

Eligible for paid company holidays during the intern program.

 

Hourly Rate: $25-$35
