Business Intelligence Intern - Summer 2025

This internship is a part of CONMED TALENT LAUNCH – a hands on, immersive program designed to provide students with the exposure, experience and development needed to launch a successful career at CONMED. The Business Intelligence Intern will be responsible for working with the Director of Business Analytics, Operations to support the BI needs of the Operations organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Use the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver tools and reports to the organization
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and capability of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Transforming data into a new format to make it more appropriate for analysis using SQL and Power BI.
  • Develop algorithms and models to mine large data sets.
  • Use statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and actionable results.
  • Conduct complex analysis of business performance, interpret the results, and summarize opportunities for improvement.
  • Create insightful reports to monitor and highlight contributing factors to financial and operational variances.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute ongoing reports for use by key stakeholders (thoroughly documenting specifications, instructions, and/or flowcharts).
  • Build and maintain necessary cross-functional business relationships with all operational impact areas, such as IT, Supply Chain, Supply Management, and Finance to independently drive business results.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing completion of a bachelors or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Must be available to work onsite in Largo, FL, 40 hrs a week, Monday – Friday throughout the summer internship program ( May 19th – August 8th )
