The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Global Support Functions Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. 

 

As the Company continues to increase its global footprint and accessibility to customers and patients, the Global Security Group (GSG) continues to take prudent measures to protect and secure our company and our people, products, trade secrets, intellectual property, reputation, and operations on a global scale.  In doing so, GSG protects the Company from a variety of hazards with the goal of providing a competitive advantage by minimizing the impact of security risks and maximizing the opportunity for the Company to do business in a safe and effective manner.

 

The intern will work with the Global Watch Desk team of the Global Security component.  The intern’s responsibilities will include assisting with a variety of tasks and projects, that could include anything from using technical monitoring systems, to assisting with geopolitical risk and travel security related initiatives.  Although this position will be supervised, the incumbent will be required to have an interest in international risk and security, with very strong writing abilities. The intern will also be trained for two weeks to function as a watch officer and be expected to provide back-up shift coverage if necessary.

The incumbent is expected to collect information and develop solutions to specific projects of a limited scope. Assignments may be designed to develop professional knowledge and to provide broad experience and familiarization with our company's methods, standards, procedures, and practices.

 

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement: Currently enrolled or recent graduate from an accredited College or University in: International Relations or Law, Criminology, Political Science, Public Policy, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or other relevant coursework.

 

Candidates must be able to commit to full-time employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning summer 2025 .

 

Required Experience and Skills: Students entering Junior or Senior year enrolled in or a recent graduate (within three months) that completed one of the required educational programs.  Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, sound analytical and problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills that include flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment.

 

Preferred Experience and Skills: Flexibility; Motivation; Functional Excellence; Teamwork/Collaboration; Results-Oriented; Problem-Solving; Communication and familiarity with Windows applications. Previous internships or involvement in community groups.

 

 

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

 

Expected salary range:

$39,600.00-$105,500.00

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

 

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.  This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:

$68,400.00 - $107,700.00
