Feed Internship

Position Overview: Individual will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with daily activities working throughout our trade area and will focus on performing various on-farm audits designed to assist our Dairy Nutritionist. You will also interact with management, employees, sales personnel, and customers.  

Requirements Prior to Start: 

Pre-employment physical and drug screen to be scheduled during spring break 

Walk through and tour of facility to be scheduled during spring break 

 Work Schedule: Work days Mon-Fri typical start time 8 am, may be earlier, depending upon business needs, 8 hour days to be expected. 

Essential Job Functions: 

Ride with sales staff visiting customers 

Specific feed projects to be determined, with clear expectations and goals 

Verbal and written communication 

Requirement At Completion of Internship: 

Prior to the last day worked, a short presentation to the direct supervisor, CEO, HR and Director of Feed of their internship experience 

Presentation will be scheduled to allow for a 10 to 20 minutes review
