Procurement Engineering Internship

How will you make an impact?

Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.

SUMMER PROJECTS MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with various functions including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance to achieve business objectives.

Track and communicate project status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets.

Understand and implement improvements of our manufacturing quality requirements with our external manufacturers.

Participate in PPI and Strategic Sourcing activities to actively implement improvements that will benefit company goals.

Perform special assignments and projects as required, including project status, plans, issues, timelines, and action items.

Lead and oversee the evolution of our products.

Implement and document standard methodology in department work practices, streamlining the sourcing process and improving organizational efficiency and workload balance.

Show adaptability and comprehension of the business's influence to handle urgent tasks and meet deadlines for both short-term and long-term projects.

Pay meticulous attention to detail and maintain a strong customer focus.

 

Start Date: This internship is set to begin on either May 12th or June 16th, 2025 for a duration of 10-12 weeks – dependent upon student availability per academic calendars. 

 

Compensation & Relocation: Our undergraduate Procurement internships offer an hourly rate between $21.50 - $28.75 dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.

 

How will you get here?

Open to candidates currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Bachelor's degree in Biological, Chemical, or Engineering or equivalent experience.

Completion of a minimum of sophomore level course in a biological, chemical, or engineering degree program.

High degree of independence and initiative.

Strong leadership and team building skills.

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional team.

Willingness to learn, be mentored, and continuously improve.
