Summer Internship at Farm Credit Mid-America

About Our Opportunity

The Farm Credit Mid-America (FCMA) internship program provides students with the opportunity to grow and develop both personally and professionally through valuable on-the-job experience, job shadowing, networking, and mentoring. By working with a variety of departments, interns will have the opportunity to explore different career paths. Working as a cohort, interns will learn about our Association by assisting various departments to conduct research, capture and share data, and participate in a variety of projects throughout the Association.

Our 12-week program (May to August) combines on-the-job experience, group projects, mentorship, and customer-focused experiences. In addition, interns will participate in a series of learning and development
opportunities to build skills that translate to the workplace.

Compensation: We value our interns and offer a competitive wage alongside the benefit of gaining the real-life experience. Our 2025 internships pay $20 an hour.

Schedule:  12 week summer intern program from May to August, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday with some travel within our territory.

Location:  The primary internship location will be based at our Louisville office. Depending on the assignment, interns might work at a FCMA retail office in our marketplace (Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, or Tennessee). Furnished housing is provided for those who need to relocate.
