HMG Implementation Specialist

 

IN THIS ROLE:

Receive, process and store data to support resource, referral, enrollment, and verification for Help Me Grow and/or Great Start Readiness Preschool (GSRP); implement systems that ensure alignment with relevant rules, regulations, policies, procedures, standards and timelines. Maintain accuracy of data and information in order to meet mandated requirements of MiLEAP, Oakland Schools, grant funders and other stakeholders in regard to the early childhood programs and services.

 

WHAT WE NEED:

  • Collect, review and manage information needed for HMG (Help Me Grow), service plans and fact sheets.
  • Respond to all HMG inquiries and requests for guidance, data, information and assistance.
  • Conduct informal screening process to assess compliance with Oakland School requirements.
  • Assist in developing systems to meet, document and store HMG requirements.
  • Provide education, support and technical assistance regarding HMG to stakeholders.
  • Maintain program accountability spreadsheets and databases
  • Run and analyze reports and initiate actions to correct vacancies.
  • Triage and disseminate information according to the Early Childhood flowchart.

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, special education, child development, human studies, social work, community development or related field.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience with Early Childhood system of services (e.g., Early Childhood Educator, Early Childhood Director, Early Childhood Specialist, Childcare Provider/Owner, Home Visitor, Parent/Family Liaison, Early Childhood Coordinator, Program Supervisor).
  • Knowledge of Oakland County early childhood development programs and systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Documents.

 

SALARY DETAILS:

$54,963 - $63,741 per year based on relevant prior work experience, with the potential of earning up to $68,642 annually after employment with Oakland Schools. Exempt Position / 12-month work year
