Lab based role, 100% onsite.

 Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Experimental Work:

• Conduct protein purification experiments following established protocols.
• Prepare and handle biological samples and reagents.

Data Collection and Analysis:

• Record experimental data meticulously and maintain accurate lab notebooks.
• Analyze results and report findings to supervisors.

Equipment Operation:

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment used for protein purification and other experimental tasks.
• Learn proper techniques for using various lab instruments, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with team members to discuss ongoing projects and seek guidance when needed.
• Participate in team meetings to share progress and contribute ideas.

Adherence to SOPs:

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) rigorously to ensure high-quality experimental outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following good laboratory practices.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated on bioscience advancements and relevant techniques.
• Engage in training sessions and seek mentorship from experienced colleagues.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare reports summarizing experimental procedures, results, and conclusions for internal review.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for presentations or publications.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels of lab supplies and reagents, and assist in ordering as needed.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials in compliance with safety regulations.

Schedule: Regular business hours

• Possesses working knowledge within Bioscience. Delivers experimental work to high standards and carefully adheres to standard operating procedures.
• Depends on others for instruction, guidance and direction.
• May be working towards relevant qualification in scientific discipline.

Top three HM is looking for:

• Protein purification
• Chemical engineer, microbiologist, biochemistry, experience in a lab etc. if direct from college.
• Experience with the equipment used would be preferred but not necessary.
