National Tax - Compensation & Benefits Intern (Spring 2025 - Denver or Minneapolis)
We are looking for an intern to join our National Tax, Compensation & Benefits team!
Season: Spring 2025
Hours: Part Time (20+)
Location: In person in our Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN office.
Majors: Accounting
Grade: Graduating in May Senior or Masters student OR Law Students

Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as a Compensation & Benefits Intern might include the following:
- Provides consulting services for compensation and benefits taxation and ERISA compliance.
- Assesses tax and ERISA issues regarding the establishment, implementation and ongoing administration of both single and multi-employer retirement and welfare benefit plans.
- Consults on issues related to tax-qualified and non-tax-qualified retirement plans and executive compensation arrangements,
- Monitors and analyzes new legislative, regulatory, and administrative comp and benefits tax and ERISA developments.
- Assists with IRS and DOL compliance filings for benefit plans.
Who You Are
- You are studying to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, J.D., J.D. with LL.M. in Taxation, or a Masters in Taxation.
- You want to expand your knowledge of complex compensation and benefits tax issues.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You can work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
- You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Interns:
We are excited to share that intern positions across our firm are paid between $21.00-$31.00/hour and are eligible for overtime. If you are offered an intern position with Eide Bailly, your pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. Interns are eligible for health insurance and 401(k) Profit Sharing.
