Volunteer Mentor at Fairless Middle School
Volunteer Mentor Needed for school-based program in a local Stark County School District.
We are non-profit organization offering mentorship programs through local partner schools as well as community-based programs. We bring in volunteers from the community and train them to mentor students.
Our school-based program is called imPACT. Two mentors will spend an hour, or less, each week sitting down with a group of 4 - 6 students during their lunch period. They will eat lunch together and then engage the children in activities focused on self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making.
- 30 - 50 minutes, once a week
- September through spring (end date may vary for each district)
- No experience needed - one time training offered
- Caring & positive personalities are a must
