Regional Product Management Intern

Covestro is a leading, global manufacturer of high-tech polymer materials that are innovative, sustainable, and diverse. For the summer of 2025, Covestro’s Coatings and Adhesives organization is seeking an intern for our North American Regional Product Management team in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

The intern’s responsibilities will vary and could include activities such as:

  • Product portfolio and life-cycle management
  • Price, margin, and product cost analytics
  • Raw material market trends
  • Process improvement/ automation
  • Support working capital goals through Supply/ Demand balance
  • Financial sales forecast

 

The Covestro Commercial Internship provides firsthand exposure to Product Management at one of the world’s largest and most innovative producers of polymers and high-performance plastics.

 

You’ll contribute to ongoing projects, getting an intimate look at how Covestro identifies customer needs and keeps the flow of new and established products moving through the marketplace.  The internship program will begin in mid-May of 2025, and last approximately 12 weeks.

WHAT YOU OFFER

 

Your Qualifications: 

  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with a focus in Business studies (Marketing and/or Supply Chain)
  • Completion of sophomore year

 

Preferred

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Exposure to SAP through internship or coursework
  • Previous internship experiences in a business environment

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to proactively identify creative, effective solutions and drive results
  • Ability to work within Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel (ie. Pivot Tables)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
