POSITION: MATH INSTRUCTOR
Contract Length: 184 Days (Salary)
Reports to: ACCA Superintendent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of Ashland County Community Academy
• Fosters an environment and culture which promotes respect, responsibility, trust, and success
• Teaches and instructs students, with multiple preps, as assigned by the Superintendent
• Proficient Depth of Knowledge in Content Area as well as in Learner-Centered Curriculum Design and
Instruction
• Exhibits Effective Classroom Management
• Timely Lesson Planning, Progress Reports, Grading, as well as Online Grading
• Delivers Effective and Differentiated Instruction, in relation to the school's education plan
• Continuous and productive communication with parents and students regarding progress/behavior,
including conferences
• Inclusion of social-emotional learning within the classroom, periodically
• Inclusion of literacy in content, each grading period, to promote school-wide literacy
• Participates in school-wide incentives, programs, and extracurricular activities
• Participates in Continuing Education Courses and/or Professional Development, as assigned by
Superintendent
• Assumes such other responsibilities and performs other duties as may be assigned by the
Superintendent
