Actuarial Analyst
As an Actuarial Analyst on our team, you’ll review multiple segments of the business and historical data on claims losses to estimate projections for claims payout balance sheets. Along with the opportunity to present your estimations to business leaders, we’ll provide study time and cost assistance for actuarial exams.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study.
- In lieu of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 2 years of analytical work experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 3 years of analytical work experience.
- Minimum of 1 passed actuarial exam recognized by the Casualty Actuarial Society.
Preferred skills
- Combine company, industry, and competitor information into holistic recommendations
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses using data analysis tools
- Experience with Excel, PowerPivot, Access, R, SAS, SQL, or Tableau
- Conduct formal statistical analyses (for example, weighted regression) using R or SAS as needed, including interpreting diagnostic information
- Good communication skills including visualization of quantitative information for non-technical audiences
Compensation
- Bachelor's $71,208 annualized +$6,000 starting bonus
- Master's $84,500 annualized + $8,000 starting bonus
- Gainshare bonus up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
