JOB TITLE: Intern – IT Facility Coordinator

LOCATION: Kansas City, MO
PAY RANGE: $17.00 - $22.00
Intern Position for Full-Time Summer 2025.
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexible working arrangements available.

As an intern, you'll have real responsibilities, and you'll work on productive assignments with actual business interactions. We know that you work hard, so we help you play hard while you are here. We provide a number of intern events throughout the summer to burn some extra energy, including volunteer events, power plant tours, lunch and learns, and more.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to operate and enhance core IT facility systems, in cooperation with corporate Facilities Department.
- Identify areas for improvement with preventative maintenance programs.
- Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors and technicians.
- Assist with building control systems including electrical, cooling, and fire safety.
- Guide communication with equipment owners and building occupants.
- Work in support of major projects and initiatives on critical infrastructure that has an immediate impact on our customers lives.
- Assists in maintaining and enhancing IT infrastructure to address newly discovered problems or new requirements.
- Escort vendors performing maintenance to ensure that the rules and operating procedures are followed
Education and Experience Requirements:
We are looking for students who are actively pursuing a university or trade school degree or certification
in Electrical Technology, HVAC, Building Engineering or related fields.

Working Conditions:
Depending on assigned team, daily work may be remote/home, office, and/or field work
