Community Employment Specialist/ Job Coach
Community Connections NEO is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, compassionate, organized, and fun-loving team player to fill the role of Community Employment Specialist/Job Coach. In this rewarding position, you will support adults with developmental disabilities as they navigate new job experiences, helping them overcome challenges and achieve success. What You'll Do:
As a Community Employment Specialist/Job Coach, you will:
- Help clients explore job interests, apply for positions, and prepare for interviews.
- Support clients during the initial days of employment and provide ongoing assistance as needed.
- Advocate for your clients, identify reasonable accommodations, and create solutions that empower them to succeed.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong computer skills and excellent grammar for necessary paperwork.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, or weekends to accommodate your clients' schedules, with opportunities to work from home.
- Ability to meet the following requirements: at least 21 years old, a valid driver’s license with fewer than 5 points, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.
