Associate IT Business Analyst

Job Description Summary

As part of our SAP Center of Excellence (COE) team, this position provides first line support to our business(es) through the helpdesk ticketing process.  Under close mentorship from senior level staff, defines, tests, trains, implements, and supports one or more functional areas within the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Application.  Concentration area for this position will be within the Production Execution functions.   Typically assigned to support activities and smaller tasks within medium to large projects. 

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Operations and Supply Chain Management, or STEM-related fields; or equivalent related experience. 
  • Entry level position.   At least one (1) year of exposure to a Manufacturing Environment preferred
     

Detailed Position Activities

  • Provides first line support to our business(es) through the helpdesk ticketing process, assists business(es) in trouble shooting Production Execution issues related to our SAP ERP application.
  • Develops training documents, commonly referred to as QRG’s, as needed.
  • Provides training to business personnel in workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules. 
  • Coordinates, implements, and communicates system change requirements
  • Works closely with more experienced analysts to write functional specifications related to software defects and application enhancements.
  • Works closely with more experienced analysts to write functional specifications related to integration to third-party software solutions.
  • Performs detailed testing and quality control related to SAP functionality, third-party software integration and SAP Fiori Applications.
  • Participates in all phases of an end-to-end project cycle including “As-Is” and “To-Be” documentation, gap analysis, gap resolution, data cleansing/conversion, testing, training, project start-up, and post go-live support. 
  • Other duties as assigned by senior-level staff.

  • Ability to collaborate with business counterparts, having a strong desire to excel and be committed to gaining exposure to multiple business processes while further developing their career.
  • Ability to thrive while working in a dynamic, fast paced, team environment with an ability to handle multiple, concurrent tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)


Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily works in an office environment
  • Occasional travel required to Menasha Corporate Office and/or Menasha Corporation Manufacturing Facilities
