Whoa Dough was launched in 2020 by one smart cookie who, along with his sons, had been diagnosed with gluten intolerance. But what began as a bummer became a big idea that took cookie dough where it had never been before. Today, Whoa Dough is home to wildly crave-able, allergen-friendly cookie dough snack bars and ready-to-bake cookie dough that are certified gluten-free, vegan, plant-based, dairy-free, soy-free, and egg-free.

Role Overview:

As a Social Media Content Creation Intern, you will have a direct impact as our social media team is developing and implementing content strategies across various platforms with a focus on video. You’ll gain hands-on experience in content creation, and digital marketing, with a key focus on engaging with our online community.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and relevant video content for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts with a focus on short-form video content and recipes that will be posted daily. 
  • Content Calendar: Assist in planning and scheduling posts to ensure consistent and timely content.
  • Research: Stay updated on social media trends and industry best practices to inform content strategies.
  • Campaign Support: Help with the execution and management of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
  • Online Community Engagement: Actively comment on, like, and engage with followers' posts, respond to comments, and foster conversations to build and maintain a strong online community.

Requirements:

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends. Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing skills are a plus.
  • Creativity: A keen eye for design and creativity with the ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in social media and digital marketing.
