Marketing Intern

Our co-ops are a key talent pipeline for full-time employment opportunities after graduation at our many locations.

RIDGID is looking for a marketing intern to join our team to and support our engagement and brand initiatives. The intern will work closely with the Engagement Marketing Manager to develop and execute campaigns, analyze data, and contribute to the development of specific marketing project strategies.

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Conduct and analyze internal brand and audit to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in the planning, strategy, and execution of various events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the creation of sustainability messaging framework, internal messaging, and content calendar.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry as it relates to social media and influencer marketing
  • Map out customer journeys or interactions with the RIDGID and Greenlee brands
  • Assist with cross-departmental projects including strategy and execution of internal communications
  • Assist with other projects as assigned

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • In process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
     

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • 2.75 cumulative GPA
  • Candidate resides near business location
  • Previous co-op/intern experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills
  • Passion for marketing and a willingness to learn
