Minimum Requirements:

Must be willing and able to pass a extensive FBI/BCI background check
Must have reliable transportation
Must have at least one year of experience in childcare centers
Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities of a Sunflower Sub include, but are not limited to:

• Management of classroom behavior and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Engage children in educational activities and promote social and emotional development
• Communicate effectively with center staff and Sunflower leadership
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Implement lesson plans provided by regular teachers in a daycare setting.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
