The Glen ELC is a private program serving children of residents at The Glen. The ELC has earned a 5-Star rating from Ohio's Step Up to Quality initiative, which recognizes learning and development programs that exceed Ohio's licensing, health and safety standards.
The Glen ELC is looking to hire a qualified, friendly, and enthusiastic teacher who has extended experience working with toddlers. Whether you have recently completed your Associates or Bachelors' degree, you're a field veteran, or you're looking to evolve your classroom experience, The Glen at St. Joseph may be a great fit for you.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or similar degree program preferred
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood or similar degree program required

REQUIREMENTS:
- A four-year degree in Education or related field, OR two-year degree in Early Childhood or related field,
- Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children,
- Evidence of emotional maturity and stability
- Evidence of sufficient security and judgment to handle crisis situations and to use supervision constructively
- Must complete a criminal history background check after hire.
- Have mobility, strength, and flexibility within the classroom and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
