Elementary Teacher

St. Peter's School is seeking a dynamic elementary teacher to join our community. Primary Job Functions: 
 

  • Creating creative lesson plans and curriculums that will include learning exercises catering to the students’ needs and abilities
  • Observing and assessing children’s progress and needs
  • Guiding students in a stimulating classroom environment
  • Making all children feel comfortable and at ease while motivating them 
  • Creating student reports and building trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Monitoring student process
     

Qualifications: 

 

Qualified candidates must either hold a current Ohio teaching license or have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a willingness to obtain the required teaching certification.  They must also be able to pass FBI and BCI background checks and complete the Diocese of Toledo VIRTUS program.

 

Salary and Benefits: 

 This position is a full-time, salaried position with a 12-month contract including options for annual renewals. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits are offered to all full-time employees including tuition discounts for school-age dependents.
