Marketing Intern

Job Overview:
Nidec Conversion is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist with a variety of marketing tasks, with a particular focus on the reorganization and recategorization of our sensor product line. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience and significant exposure in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review Product Categorization:
    • Analyze and review existing product categories.
    • Ensure products are correctly categorized and provide recommendations for improvements.
    • Collaborate with the product management team to maintain accurate and user-friendly categorization on our website.
  2. Photography and Image Editing:
    • Take high-quality pictures of products, especially for the accessory section.
    • Touch up and edit images to meet homologation standards and ensure they are visually appealing.
    • Maintain a consistent and professional aesthetic for all product images.
  3. Website Content Management:
    • Upload and update product images on the website.
    • Ensure all images are correctly formatted and displayed.
    • Regularly check and update content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  4. Promotional Material Creation:
    • Assist in designing and producing flyers and catalogue pages for the accessory section.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative and effective promotional materials.
    • Ensure all materials align with the company's branding and marketing strategies.
  5. Social Media Campaigns:
    • Assist with tasks assigned by our contractor to support marketing communications through social media.
    • Ensure required information is supplied promptly for social media campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior in a 4-year degree program, studying Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of photography and image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website maintenance is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
