Data Analyst - London Automation

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related area
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Advanced knowledge of relational databases
    • Experienced in Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word)
    • Intermediate/Advanced SQL
    • Data Visualization Experience (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
    • Beginner or intermediate object oriented programming (Python)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three to five years' experience with data management and/or relational databases. Additional experience may offset the degree requirement
  • Certifications in data analysis or related fields
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau

We are on the lookout for a forward-thinking and skillful Systems Analyst and Strategy Associate who is eager to bring their unique perspective to our innovative team. Your role will be integral in providing valuable customer insights and elevating healthcare fundraising through technology.

 

Job Purpose: To design, develop, and implement custom applications and reports to support fundraising organizations, ensuring accurate and complete information, and optimizing reporting and data analysis standards.

 

On the job training:

At London Automation we will train the ideal candidate on cutting edge skills and techniques for artificial intelligence, data analysis, data visualization, and data management.

We also will train the new candidate in the most current programming languages used in the industry.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement custom applications to support the fundraising team
  • Ensure all reports meet the needs of requesting users, presenting accurate and complete information
  • Assist in establishing reporting and data analysis standards
  • Optimize reports in conjunction with the director
  • Work with current staff to effectively analyze, manage, and report from the current fundraising software as part of the systems team
  • Ensure new standard reports are subject to appropriate testing by users and application development staff
  • Provide specifications to systems team for generating reports using system templates and tools
  • Develop mechanisms for accurate and efficient reporting
  • Generate custom applications and templates
  • Develop and maintain complete documentation, including narrative descriptions, input/output samples, and instructions for newly developed applications
  • Investigate and recommend methods to empower users to access and run frequently used reports
  • Develop complex advancement reports using SQL, Microsoft Office, and other utilities or languages as necessary
  • Work with the Director to review and implement functional and delivery timeline requirements in assembling a project team consisting of users and technical staff
  • Manage project requirements in a team environment to design, implement, test, document, and install new reports and applications
  • Ensure all requirements, testing plans, source codes, and completion documentation are prepared and appropriately distributed and archived

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 15 pounds
  • Requires extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting
  • Normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
