What You’ll Do

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will take ownership and accountability working with both internal and external partners to ensure adequate supply to satisfy our customer’s needs. This position provides the opportunity to innovate, identify areas of improvement and drive change in a dynamic CPG environment. Play a strategic part in managing the company's supply chain to achieve both short and long-term objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, proactively identifying and mitigating potential supply chain risks.
  • Coordinate production schedules with contract manufacturers to meet customer demand while considering capacity constraints, lead times, and production.
  • Monitor production progress and address any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
  • Optimize production plans to balance inventory levels, production costs, and service levels.
  • Leverage SAP systems and tools to streamline supply chain processes, optimize inventory management, and enhance visibility across the supply chain

 

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CPIM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply planning within medium-sized global CPG companies, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles and processes.
  • Extensive experience in supply planning utilizing SAP systems, including proficiency in SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) or SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions to drive supply chain optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.
